After the Victory

There was a feeling in 1991 that the national sense of community in Estonia had been kept alive through the culture of singing. Still today there are mass gatherings of many hundreds or even thousands of people who come together and sing in a collective out-pouring of identity and self-expression. The Reading Bach Choir concert on the 25th April reflects that spirit with a group of pieces from the Baltic States.
