Lacock Abbey, Fox Talbot Museum and Village - Wacky inventions trail

Discover the strangest and silliest inventions on this fun self-led family trail around the abbey grounds. Fox Talbot lived in Lacock Abbey and was a very clever scientist who created the first photographic negative here at the abbey. His invention changed the way we looked at the world. Some people must have thought he was daft to try to capture an image, but he proved them wrong.

This trail is not available for May half term (23 to 31 May) as we are running the Mad inventors' club fa
