Blessed Light | Divers Voyces with La Dolce Gamba
Early music vocal ensemble Divers Voyces are joined by guest director George Haynes, viol consort La Dolce Gamba and organist Jeremy Lloyd, for an evening of music for chapel and mansion from the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries.
Following the recent reinterment of King Richard III, the concert concludes with a performance of Sadoc saderdos, a piece written in his honour by contemporary composer Michael Mullen, in the style of a late 15th century votive antiphon.
