Stephen Barker highlights four significant battles of the campaign in which five Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry battalions fought. The talk explains the political and military context, yet includes a significant number of personal stories, ancedotes and legacies relating to those caught up in the actions, and is illustrated with contemporary and modern images, maps, photographs and ephemera.
