Wild Wood Weekend
A weekend of wild woodland activities for all the family to celebrate the opening of Wakehurst’s Pearcelands Wood.
The weekend will feature a wide range of woodland craftsmen and green woodworkers demonstrating the many uses of the woodland’s natural materials including: pole lathe turning, bowl carving, walking stick making, stick chairs, chestnut shingles and chestnut hurdles.
Families can also enjoy a taste of bushcraft and drop in for children’s woodland craft activities such as making
