Carolyn Sloan’s adaptation of her own novel, The Sea Child tells the mysterious story of Jessie, a young girl who has lived alone with her father for 10 years and faces a life-changing choice to meet new people. The play was joint winner of FFShorts, the festival of new writing which sets out to find a new play for the Yvonne Arnaud Youth Theatre. Catch this production prior to its two weeks at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
