Town Walk - Cirencester and the Civil War – with William Cooper
The events of the first week of February in 1643 were to greatly influence the lives of local citizens for the next two and a half years. Hundreds lost their lives and property. Join William Cooper from the Civic Society to explore Cirencester, a town which King Charles I found too attractive to ignore.
Walk starts from the Corinium Museum. Duration approximately 90 minutes
