Forest of Dean choir, The Tan House Singers (conductor Janet Upton), will be spanning the centuries and musical styles in their forthcoming summer concert in the glorious setting of Dore Abbey in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside. Sacred music is a mainstay of English choral repertoire, but for this concert, the choir will be exploring different settings of the familiar words of the Latin mass written three centuries apart.
