Summer Exhibition at Goodwood House

On 15th June 1815, the Duchess of Richmond hosted a ball at her home in Brussels. The arrival of a messenger half-way through set in train a sequence of events that would culminate in the Battle of Waterloo three days later, thus making the ball arguably the most famous in history. Goodwood’s summer exhibition will celebrate the 200th anniversary of the ball.

The summer exhibition will tell the story of the Duchess of Richmond’s ball as well as exhibiting related treasures from the Goodwood
Ticket prices are just £9.50 for adults, 12 - 18 year olds £4 and under 12’s go free. Please note there are no tours during the Summer Exhibition (August – October) The rooms are stewarded instead.
