Jekyll and Hyde in Bournemouth – Walking Talk of Bournemouth
This outdoor event is tied to the Festival Play, The Weevil in the Biscuit, which dramatises Robert Louis Stevenson’s vexations in writing his iconic tale The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde while living in Bournemouth. Performing the role of Stevenson in appropriate dress, historian and Stevenson expert Andrew Amery will conduct a Walking Talk of the author’s house and locality while describing the local influences upon Stevenson in writing his famous story.
