Alternative Perspectives Lecture: The Belinus Line. Plus two walks on the following days.

Gary Biltcliffe and Caroline Hoare, authors of The Spine of Albion, will present a talk on The Belinus Line, the longest North-South ley line of mainland Britain, running from the Isle of Wight to Durness. The line was named after King Belinus who was said to have made straight roads across Britain, and who is mentioned by Geoffrey of Monmouth and whose name is probably associated with the solar god Belinus or Bel, supported by the fact that one of this god’s major shrines falls right on the Be
Lecture 7pm. £5 on the door. Price includes refreshments.
