The Marriage of Figaro
In their second night at the festival, the Heritage Opera Company performs Mozart’s classic comedy, which acts as a sequel to their 2014 performance of The Barber of Seville. Count Almaviva, his days as a young romantic hero long behind him, seeks the affections of Figaro’s bride to be Susanna for himself. What follows is a day of hilarious intrigue and redemption, resulting in a story that is truly justified as one of the world’s most popular operas.
Cost: £74 per person, to include a welcome drink on arrival, gourmet three course dinner with coffee and petit fours.
