Moor Close Garden, Newbold College, Binfield

Heritage Open Day: Small Grade 11 listed garden designed 1911-13 by Oliver Hill and a rare example of his early work. Lavender garden, water parterre, remains of Italianate garden. Undergoing long-term restoration, it currently offers most interest in it's historical architecture rather than planting. One will also be able to visit inside Moor Close house. we hope you enjoy learning about the history of the house and garden from our knowledgeable guides.
