Charles Wesley's House

Heritage Open Day: The Charles Wesley House is the family house of Charles Wesley; one of the co-founders (with his brother John) of the Methodist movement in the 18th century and considered to be the world's greatest hymn-writer. He lived in Bristol from 1749 to 1771 with his wife, Sally, and their children. It is the only family house dedicated to Charles Wesley in the world.
