The Red Lodge Museum
Heritage Open Day: Bristol's only surviving Tudor domestic interior. Built c.1580 as a banqueting lodge in the grounds of a larger house, extended and modernised in the 18th Century. From 1854 it housed the country's first girls' reform school. The three oak rooms retain their original panelling, plasterwork ceilings and carved stone chimney pieces.
