Ancient Human Occupation of Chatteris
Heritage Open Day: Museum curator, Ian Mason, will be talking about Chatteris's earliest residents, their tools and implements from 1,000,000 years to 43AD. A fascinating range of artifacts will be on display which have been found in the Chatteris area and are brought together in the museum for a limited time. Ian's presentation will guide you and interpret what you will see. Handle a replica Bronze age spear, shield and rapier and see some original bronze age finds from Chatteris.
