Coxhoe Hall Woods
Heritage Open Day: Coxhoe Hall, now reduced to ruins, was the birthplace of the poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Built in 1725, but sadly demolished in 1952. The long drive, lady's walk and ha-ha have been renovated. Enjoy as part of a walk. Walking maps available from Durham Town Hall Reception.
