DLI Museum and Durham Art Gallery

Heritage Open Day: This family friendly museum is set in charming grounds just outside Durham City Centre. The Durham Light Infantry Museum tells the story of one of the most famous county regiments in the British Army. More importantly, it tells the story of ordinary people who lived extraordinary lives. Durham Art Gallery showcases a variety of temporary contemporary art exhibitions. Join the DLI curator on Friday for a free guided tour behind the scenes and get hands-on with real DLI objects.
