Fowlers Yard, Creative Workspaces, the arts quarter of Durham City
Heritage Open Day: Fowlers Yard is a unique development of nine creative workspaces for professional artists and businesses, tucked away behind Durham Market Hall, situated alongside the River Wear. The studios are open to the public providing visitors to see artists at work, or to browse their studio space.
Fowlers Yard is home to Paintbox Furniture, The Woolly Workshop, a goldsmith, a print maker, embroiderer, tapestry weaver and painter, photographer, illustrator, and a micro brewery.
