St Mary's Bridge Chapel
Heritage Open Day: Dating from the beginning of the 14th century and restored in 1930, this building is one of only six bridge chapels remaining in England. The opening for Heritage Open Days is special, not only because the building is open at an unusual time but also because the adjoining 17C Bridge Chapel House is open as well. Volunteers are always on hand to welcome visitors and to answer questions.
