TALK - 'John de la Pole, Earl of Lincoln, heir to the Throne of England

Heritage Open Day: Earlier this year, King Richard III was re-buried in Leicester Cathedral. After the death of his son, Edward of Middleham, Richard planned that John de la Pole, Earl of Lincoln, should succeed him as King of England. The East window in St. Mary's, Lowgate, contains his coat of arms. Dr Judith Preston Anderson will talk about John de la Pole and the circumstances surrounding the succession.
