Chelmsford Museum/Essex Regiment Museum
Heritage Open Day: Chelmsford Museum tells the story of the County town (and England's newest city) from Roman times to the recent world beating industries of Marconi, Hoffmann and Crompton. There is also decorative arts, art and natural history to see, with plenty of things to interect with. The Essex regiment Museum tells the story of the county regiment.
The museum is not normally open on the Friday.
