St Luke's Church

Heritage Open Day: St Luke's was built and consecrated in 1854. It was designed by F.W. Ordish in the Victorian style of 'Geometric Decorated Gothic'. Its tower has oddly shaped 'broaches' on its corners which betray the original design to build a tower some 40 ft higher.
