Heritage Open Day: Completed in 1901 this magnificent church, built in the Arts and Crafts style by architect Edgar Wood displays elements of Gothic, Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau and Modernism. Nikolaus Pevsner called Wood 'that remarkable Manchester architect'. In addition to admiring the wonderful architecture, visitors will have the opportunity of viewing an exhibition: 'Edgar Wood and the Northern Arts and Crafts Movement'.
