Heritage Open Day: A fine 1886 Victorian church built in the Anglo-Catholic tradition by R. Knill Freeman. Splendid stained glass East window by Henry Holiday (the parish's memorial to the Tonge Moor men who died in the First World War, installed 1920) and stained glass lancet windows in the Lady Chapel and along the ambulatories, depicting various saints, some by the internationally-renowned Edith Norris and another by Gerald Smith.
