Waterhead Parish Church
Heritage Open Day: The Church is one of the most beautiful in Oldham. It was built in 1847 but with sympathetic additions later.
Since 2011, we have largely restored the church to its former glory, with a new roof and re-opened porch, and totally new toilets, sound system and disability access ramp. The lighting will be restored later in 2015, and the tower and spire repaired soon. We await planning permission, so there may be some scaffolding in evidence.
