Herne Bay Little Theatre

Heritage Open Day: Probably the smallest theatre in the Canterbury district. Created from a Catholic holiday home for deprived children. Auditorium seats 72 and fully set up for live theatre and films. A TALK ON THE RISE OF THE KENTISH SEASIDE RESORT - Margate was one of the earliest seaside resorts and became popular with Londoners. An illustrated talk on the origins of these resorts, especially in North Kent, from the mid eighteenth century until recently.
