St Radigund's Abbey Guided Tours
Heritage Open Day: Premonstratensian Abbey founded 1191. Visited by several monarchs. Following the Dissolution in 1538, the great abbey church was demolished, with buildings and lands leased to a tenant farmer by monarch. Today the refectory is a farmhouse surrounded by ruins. Gatehouse and guest house survive. Two guided tours lasting 1.5 hours.
