Bancroft Mill Engine Trust

Heritage Open Day: See a fully operating steam powered Textile Mill Engine, 600 I.H.P, still running at it's original operating speed. You can really feel, and see, what a typical mill engine would have operated like at the height of the cotton industry. Get up close to this powerful machine and see it's intricate mechanism in full motion.
