Heritage Open Day: Although rather ordinary from the outside, the Parish Church of St John the Baptist Tuebrook is dazzling. Jenkins describes this church as G.F. Bodley's masterpiece, and the interior decoration earnt the building Grade I listed status. Designed and built between 868 and 1870, the Parish Church of St John the Baptist includes architectural and decorative contributions from William Morris, Edward Burne-Jones, Anton Dapre, and Ninian Comper.
