Heritage Open Day: Grade I Listed - built in 1610. 15th century vestry, 17th century magnificent Jacobean ceiling and panelling, 17th century sanctuary chair, and choir benches, altar rails. 3 windows by Edward Woore, Burne-Jones window 1878. Saxon Font. One of Merseyside's finest churches with a long and varied history. Tower and spire not open due to safety reasons. Children under 16 must have adult supervision. Tours at half past the hour.
