Barbers, Beer and Bangers

Heritage Open Day: A themed market featuring beer and bangers with a costumed barber surgeon. These were the predominant commercial activities around the Saturday Market Place and St James Street which are now part of a regeneration programme funded by the Heritage lottery Fund - the Townscape Heritage Inititive.
