Binham Priory and Monastic Ruins

Heritage Open Day: Binham Priory was a Benedictine Priory, a cell of St Albans Abbey, completed in the 12th century, it is of international architectural significance. The monastic buildings were destroyed in 1539 when the monks were ordered to leave. The building clearly shows Norman and Early Gothic architecture.
