Heritage Open Day: The buildings once formed the St George’s Nunnery and are now the headquarters of the BTO. There is an interesting display about the history of the site and the work of the BTO. The gardens and the adjoining Nunnery Lakes Reserve are open to visitors and are a haven to wildlife. Meet on the half hour for tours 10am-12.30pm.
