Heritage Open Day: The William Richardson conservatory, built in 1894, and the adjacent bothies behind the range of glasshouses, have been brought back to life with a new focus thanks to the help of a major grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Heritage Open Day activities include: Free access to Richardson Conservatory and bothies, with heritage exhibitions and family activities. Exhibitions include - William Richardson, Builders of Glasshouses and Indoors and Out, focusing on the oral history
