St John the Evangelist Church
Heritage Open Day: St John the Evangelist, dedicated in 1863, has been a Grade I listed building since 2011. It has a distinctive spire designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, which contrasts with the more familiar Somerset towers. The wrought iron screen, erected in 1892, is highly decorated with gilded detail depicting the story of Noah's Ark.
