National Memorial Arboretum - FREE Victoria Cross Trail
Heritage Open Day: The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK's year-round centre of Remembrance and home to the iconic Armed Forces Memorial which was dedicated in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen in 2007. A growing living landscape and tribute to those who have served or made a sacrifice for the country, the 150-acre Arboretum comprises around 40,000 trees and over 300 memorials, each with its own fascinating symbolism and story.
