Moorlands Barn
Heritage Open Day: Moorlands Barn dates from the 18th century, but has recently been renovated to include PV solar panels, LED lighting, loft insulation, and water butts. The solar panels were fitted on the roof of the newly built cart lodge, completed 11 years ago. The resident is a member of Transition Sudbury and embraces many aspects of the sustainable lifestyle - even the raised vegetable beds are made from discarded wood pallets.
