Heritage Open Day: 1.5km walk exploring the Domesday village of Malden and its ancient meadows (rough walking) putting it into historical context. Hear about its connection with the founding of Merton College Oxford; see where artist Sir John Millais painted the background to his picture of Ophelia. The meeting point is St John the Baptist Church.
