Bede Tower

Heritage Open Day: Visitors can view Bede Tower, which was built in the 1850s and was in the same style as Osborne House, the late Queen Mother's residence on the Isle of Wight. Local craftsman Fred Gooch and Dr Michael Johnson (Northumbria University) will also have an exhibition of scale models of Sunderland's Victorian buildings, including churches, pubs and bridges.
