South Shields Volunteer Life Brigade Watch House

Heritage Open Day: The headquarters of the South Shields Voluntary Life Brigade was built in 1886 and is constructed entirely from wood. It houses a large collection of voluntary life brigade memorabilia. The South Shields Voluntary Life Brigade is still fully operational today in its coastal search and rescue role.
