Coultershaw Heritage Site & Beam Pump

Heritage Open Day: Waterwheel driven pump installed in 1782 to supply water to Petworth. House and town. New displays including exhibition of Garland photographs. Restored engine house with a collection of hands-on pumps which can be operated by children. Improved access to Rother Navigation. Also recently installed Archimedes Screw water turbine generating electricity from a renewable source. Nature trail round attractive Mill pond.
