Halifax Town Hall

Heritage Open Day: View this magnificent Grade II* listed building opened in 1863 by HRH the Prince of Wales. Designed by Sir Charles Barry, well known for designing the Houses of Parliament in the 1840's. The building design is 'North Italian Cinquecento' style featuring a central hall with glazed roof, mosaic marble flooring, ornate plaster work & Victorian statues.
