St Peter the Apostle Church

Heritage Open Day: All visitors will be welcomed by our volunteers who will act as tour guides around the church and grounds, includes the bell tower. St Peter's is a medieval church dating back to Norman times, is a Grade II* listed building (has 6 bells, one of which is 14thC from Kirkstall Abbey). This beautiful church has lower and upper churchyards, lower with French nuns graves who settled in the area during early 19thC. It is in a beautiful semi rural area with surrounding farmland,
