Theatre Royal Wakefield

Heritage Open Day: The Theatre Royal was built in 1894 and is one of the best examples of the Victorian Theatre Architect, Frank Matcham's work. It has been functioning again as a theatre since 1981. Our tour will give you an intimate and exclusive look at this wonderful example of Victorian theatre architecture and a chance to see around the smallest Matcham theatre in Britain.
