Polesden Lacey - Society's Soldiers: research tour

Step back 100 years and discover how Polesden Lacey was used as a convalescent hospital during 1915-16. Discover the latest findings and see how the research is continuing on the lives of the soldiers that were here during this time. This tour uses photos and research from our archives to explore the house and grounds from a new poignant perspective, considering the experiences of the men who recovered here when the Edwardian party house became a convalescent home in 1915-16.
One tour per day
