Chirk Castle - Medieval weekend - with Cwmd Ial
Join us for a fascinating look at life in the early medieval period as we welcome re-enacting groups Cwmd Ial and Les Miles des Marches to Chirk Castle. 2015 is the 850th anniversary of the Battle of Crogen, which took place in 1165 in the Ceiriog Valley, between the forces of Henry II and the combined forces of the Welsh princes.
