Free tours of St. Nicolas Church bell tower in Newbury
Saturday 12th September – tours at 10am, 11:15am, 2pm and 3:15pm.
Sunday 13th September – tours at 2pm and 3:15pm.
The ringing chamber, bell chamber, and top of the bell tower are not normally open to the public but will be opened for a limited number of free tours as part of the national Heritage Open Days event in September.
Each tour can accommodate up to 16 people, including children, and takes around 45 minutes. To see the bell tower, pre-book at the Church Office in person, by telep
