Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra - Melodic Gems

The BSO returns to Yeovil with a selection of musical gems by composers from across Europe. Starting with a beautiful French suite depicting the doomed love affair between Pelléas and Mélisande, the performance moves on to the British folk-inspired and pastoral Clarinet Concerto that Gerald Finzi is best known for. We then cross the channel again for one of the most popular and recognisable Italian works, Mascagni’s Intermezzo from Cavaleria Rusticana.
