The MERSEYBEATS emerged from Liverpool in the early 60s, performing alongside The Beatles, at the famous CAVERN CLUB.
Formed by Billy Kinsley and Tony Crane, the band went onto enjoy world wide hits with such songs as I Think of You, Don’t Turn Around, Mr Moonlight, and Wishin' and Hopin'.
Billy and Tony then as a duo, formed The MERSEYS, and enjoyed a worldwide hit with the unforgettable “Sorrow”, a song later covered by David Bowie.
